How to Have Eternal Life
DEAR FRIEND,
YOU CAN BE SURE OF ETERNAL LIFE!
God wants you to be 100% certain that when you die you will go to Heaven. That's why the Bible says, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life." - I John 5:13
What must you know from the Bible to be 100% sure?
You must realize that you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23
As a sinner, you will pay the price of sin.
"For the wages of sin is death" - Romans 6:23a
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation. 21:8
Christ has paid the price for you.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
Repent, turn from your sin and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. Believe that He died, buried and rose again for your salvation.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." - Romans 10:9
If you believe with all your heart these promises, this short pattern of prayer will guide you to talk to God, believing Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. You can do this NOW.
Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner. There is nothing I can do to earn my way to Heaven. Please forgive me of my sins. I believe that your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, died, buried and rose again to pay for my sins. I now trust Him as my personal Lord and Saviour. I ask Him to come to my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” - John 1:12
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” - John 3:16
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” - Romans 10:13
Now you have eternal life and new destination.
“…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” - Romans 6:23b
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” - 2 Corinthians 5:17
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9
